{"id":5412,"date":"2014-12-17T16:35:06","date_gmt":"2014-12-17T16:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sfdp.cz\/?p=5412"},"modified":"2014-12-17T16:35:06","modified_gmt":"2014-12-17T16:35:06","slug":"reminder-e-learning-courses-eurosdr-and-application-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sfdp.cz\/en\/reminder-e-learning-courses-eurosdr-and-application-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder e-learning courses EuroSDR and application scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2015 series of e-learning courses from EuroSDR is now open for registration:<\/p>\n<p>Topics of four e-learning courses will be introduced during the seminar hosted by BEV in Vienna from 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0March 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Two-week e-learning courses are scheduled from March to June 2015:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><b>Mapping using high-resolution satellite imagery<\/b>(16 &#8211; 27 March 2015)<br \/>\nTutor: Dr. Daniela Poli, Terra Messflug GmbH, Austria<\/li>\n<li><b>Change detection in High-Resolution land use\/cover geodatabases<\/b>(7-17 April 2015)<br \/>\nTutor: Dr. Cl\u00e9ment Mallet, IGN, France<\/li>\n<li><b>RPAS in land survey \u2013 theory and practice\u00a0<\/b>(27 April &#8211; 8 May 2015)<br \/>\nTutors: Dr.-Ing. G\u00f6rres Grenzd\u00f6rffer, University of Rostock &amp; Dr.-Ing. Michael Cramer, University of Stuttgart, Germany<\/li>\n<li><b>International standards for geographic information\u00a0<\/b>(8 -19 June 2015)<br \/>\nTutor: Prof. Wolfgang Kresse, University of Applied Sciences, Neubrandenburg, Germany<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EduServ\u00a0courses can be followed over the Internet from any location and require about thirty hours of online study.<\/p>\n<p>Course fees are: \u20ac600 for 1-2 courses, and \u20ac700 for 3-4 courses (participation at the pre-course seminar is included).<\/p>\n<p>Fee for attending\u00a0<b>only<\/b>\u00a0the seminar: \u20ac100<\/p>\n<p>A limited number of scholarships will be available to fully cover the course fee and to partially support the travel costs to the pre-course seminar (up to \u20ac 500). The scholarships are intended to Ph.D.\/Master students and other applicants with no or very limited financial support from their university or public institution.<br \/>\nIn order to proceed with the application<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Register to EduServ13 on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurosdr.net\/education\/course\/eduserv-13\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.eurosdr.net\/<wbr \/>education\/course\/eduserv-13<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Fill in the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">application form<\/span>\u00a0that includes a motivation letter, information about professional experience and calculation of travel costs. It is recommended to support the application with a reference letter.
