On the ocassion of Student Scientific Conference organized by Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague 35th meeting of SFDP took place in Telč.
Members of SFDP were informed in detail by Mr. Radovan Haloun about preparation of the ISPRS Congress in Prague 2016, about visited conferences that took place in 2013 with the aim of promoting 23rd ISPRS Congress in Prague, and about proposed working program and strategies for the year 2014.
Mrs Lena Halounová signed a contract with platinum sponsor of the ISPRS Congress in Prague 2016 with “Hexagon Geosystems” at the International Congress and Exhibition Intergeo in Essen. The agreement was signed by Juergen Dold – President of Hexagon Geosystems and Jack Ickes – President of Geospatial Solutions Division.
The topic of short first seminar at the University of West Bohemia, department of geomatics, was the conception of National Dataset of Spatial Objects of spatial data as a part of the Geoinfostrategy of the Czech Republic till 2020 presented by Mr. Čada. The presentation iniciated an extensive discussion.
At the Georeal companyMr. Vondráček welcomed the participants and introduced them to the company organization and its main activities. Excursion into sections of photogrammetry and land consolidation closed this interesting trip to Pilsen.
