The 62nd Meeting of Prague photogrammetrists and members of the Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing was held in the Central Railway Control Workplace in Prague on September 19, 2017. It was consctructed in 2016 and contains 5 control halls and a training workplace. In round-the-clock service 130 controllers and 35 operators control all railway traffic on 5 main railway lines leading from Prague.
61st meeting of the Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Senting took place in the new opened building of the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics anf Kyberbnetics in Prague. Presentations of 4 research workers gave an introduction to solving various problems in the industry by application of robots, radars, terrestrial laser scanners and means of close range digital fotogrammetry.
On Tuesday 25th April 2017 the 60th meeting of Prague photogrammetrists and members of the Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing was held at the National Technical Museum in Prague. First part was devoted to the tour into collection of astronomical and geodetic instruments conducted by Mr. Švejda – administrator of this collection. Within the following session Mr. Šíma presented the paper on Orthophoto CZ and its utilization for Revision of cadastre.

On 30th March 2017 the organizers of the XXIIIth ISPRS Congress together with members of Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Rensing met on the Vltava river boat Porto in order to remember important events of preparation and negotiations of the Congress that became a peak of activities of Czech photogrammetrists. The participants highly appreciated the hospitality of host Auletris company.
