  ***** ISPRS WG IV/7 and WG V/4 Joint Workshop ***** Indoor-Outdoor Seamless Modelling, Mapping and Navigation ***** 21-22 May 2015, Tokyo, Japan ***** http://isprs2015tokyo.geo.db.shibaura-it.ac.jp/ ***** Abstract submission: February 6th, 2015 Dear colleagues and friends, Requirements for seamless modelling between indoor and outdoor environment related to BIM (Building Information Modelling) are increasing. It is needed to discuss on photgrammetric aspects focusing on the topic. The ISPRS WG IV/7 and WG V/4 Joint Workshop ( http://isprs2015tokyo.geo.db.shibaura-it.ac.jp/) will deal with wide variety of modelling, mapping and navigation. The event will feature 2-days of oral presentations and posters with an exhibition of related companies. The topics include but are not limited to: •  Building Information Modeling (BIM), Construction Information Modeling (CIM) •  CAD and Indoor GIS •  Closed range photogrammetry, Image-based modelling •  Point cloud •  Indoor Location-based Services (Indoor LBS) •  Augmented Reality (AR) applications •  Wearable sensors, Mobile devices •  Human-computer interface •  Archeology Important dates •  February 6th, 2015: Abstract submission (800 words) •  March 20th, 2015: Notification to authors •  April 17th, 2015: Final paper submission (ISPRS format, max 6 pages) The accepted articles will be published in the ISPRS Archives of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences ( www.isprs.org/publications/archives.aspx). Registration fee •  Only on-site: JPY 20,000 The fee includes the participation to the workshop, proceedings, coffee breaks, and the welcome party. Reminder e-learning courses EuroSDR and application scholarship

The 2015 series of e-learning courses from EuroSDR is now open for registration: Topics of four e-learning courses will be introduced during the seminar hosted by BEV in Vienna from 9th to 10th March 2015. Two-week e-learning courses are scheduled from March to June 2015: Mapping using high-resolution satellite imagery(16 - 27 March 2015) Tutor: Dr. Daniela Poli, Terra Messflug GmbH, Austria Change detection in High-Resolution land use/cover geodatabases(7-17 April 2015) Tutor: Dr. Clément Mallet, IGN, France RPAS in land survey – theory and practice (27 April - 8 May 2015) Tutors: Dr.-Ing. Görres Grenzdörffer, University of Rostock & Dr.-Ing. Michael Cramer, University of Stuttgart, Germany International standards for geographic information (8 -19 June 2015) Tutor: Prof. Wolfgang Kresse, University of Applied Sciences, Neubrandenburg, Germany EduServ courses can be followed over the Internet from any location and require about thirty hours of online study. Course fees are: €600 for 1-2 courses, and €700 for 3-4 courses (participation at the pre-course seminar is included). Fee for attending only the seminar: €100 A limited number of scholarships will be available to fully cover the course fee and to partially support the travel costs to the pre-course seminar (up to € 500). The scholarships are intended to Ph.D./Master students and other applicants with no or very limited financial support from their university or public institution.
