Na 41. setkání členů SFDP Tomáš Tichý a J. Karas představili v terénu způsoby snímkování pomocí RPAS: MaVinci (letoun s pevným křídlem) a Hexacopter (šestirotorový kopter). V restauraci Puškin proběhl následně krátký seminář, kde V. Šafář v prezentoval dílčí výsledky testování přesnosti ortofota, digitální AAT a DTM získaných ze snímkování prostředky RPAS na zkušební základně u Hradce Králové (projekt VÚGTK). J.Karas a T.Tichý předvedli výsledky odpoledního snímkování RPAS a následné vyhodnocení. O akci a otevřených problémech používání RPAS napsal J. Šíma článek, který vyjde v č.9+10/2014 časopisu Zeměměřič. Odborné jednání o problémech použití RPAS bude pokračovat na 42. setkání SFDP, které se uskuteční v Telči dne 11.11.2014 v rámci specializovaného semináře, který organizačně zajistí prof. Pavelka (své referáty již přislíbili V. Šafář a J. Šíma). Na tomto semináři by měly v dalších přednáškách představit své plány a dosavadní zkušenosti vysokoškolská pracoviště, která systémy RPAS také vlastní.
